A Picture is Worth a 1000 Words: Visual Literacy and EE

Over the course of my teaching I created a lot of visual materials intended to help students' understanding. Out of necessity I began to research the art of visual design. In this talk, I tried to pull together what I learned about visual design and organize it into an easy to remember framework. I first gave this talk at the 2018 North American Association for Environmental Education Conference.
